Privacy Policy for TrackerAlert
Effective Date: September 18, 2025
Overview
TrackerAlert is a Chrome browser extension designed to detect third-party B2B tracking pixels
and scripts (such as Vector, RB2B, 6sense, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, and Leadfeeder) and notify the user
locally when such trackers are present.
We take user privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data the extension does and does
not collect, store, or share.
Data Collection
- No personal data collected: TrackerAlert does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information (such as names, email addresses, IP addresses, or browsing history).
- Local-only operation: All detection of tracking scripts happens locally on your device within your browser. No browsing data is sent to any external server.
- No tracking or analytics: The extension does not use Google Analytics, cookies, or any form of third-party tracking.
Permissions
- <all_urls> host permission: Required so the extension can scan pages for tracker scripts. The extension does not modify page content or send it anywhere.
Data Sharing
- TrackerAlert does not sell, rent, or transfer any data to third parties.
- TrackerAlert does not use or share data for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.
- TrackerAlert does not use or transfer data for creditworthiness or lending purposes.
Security
Since TrackerAlert does not collect or transmit any user data, no personal data is at risk of
interception or unauthorized access.
Changes
If this Privacy Policy changes in the future (for example, if new features are added that affect
data handling), we will update this page and the Chrome Web Store listing accordingly.
